Manufacturing Month is a month-long celebration dedicated to recognizing the positive impact manufacturing has on our local and national economies and job markets.

During manufacturing month, employers will open their facilities to host workshops, networking events, and tours to teach you more about the opportunities in the sector, and to demonstrate everything this innovative industry has to offer. Across the region, 46,000 people are currently employed in the manufacturing sector.
Throughout the 12 internationally renowned eastern Ontario post-secondary schools, 15,300 students are currently enrolled in engineering, science, and maths, setting them up for a career in manufacturing.

With easy access to the US border and transportation routes across air, land, and sea the region accesses a strong supply chain network.
